Hurricane Helene

During Hurricane Helene, Pierce Powerline crews provided round‑the‑clock emergency restoration services in heavily impacted regions. Lineworkers performed high‑risk repairs to damaged electrical infrastructure in challenging post‑storm environments.

Scope of Response Included:

 

  • Repairing and replacing damaged poles, conductors, transformers, and substations
  • Restoring overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems
  • Identifying and securing hazards from downed or energized lines
  • Utilizing aerial lifts, helicopters, and drone technology for inspection and repair
  • Supporting ground operations including pole framing, wire splicing, and rigging
  • Sustaining continuous operations during extended overnight and emergency shifts
