Cartersville – South Acworth

Pierce Powerline performed construction, maintenance, and storm restoration work on the Cartersville–South Acworth 115 kV transmission line. Crews completed both energized and de‑energized work to maintain system reliability and safety.

Scope of Work Included:

• Setting and framing wood poles and anchors
• Stringing, sagging, dead‑ending, and clipping‑in conductors
• Installing insulators, switches, crossarms, and lightning protection
• Performing hot‑stick maintenance and mechanical jumper work
• Emergency storm restoration and system repairs
• Operating bucket trucks, digger derricks, and rigging equipment
• Maintaining strict compliance with grounding, induced voltage, and minimum approach distance requirements
