Derrick Pierce, Chief Operating Officer at Pierce Powerline, brings more than 25 years of operational leadership and strategic planning experience to the organization. With deep expertise in distribution, transmission, and underground residential distribution (URD), he plays a critical role in driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and scaling operations. Known for his hands-on leadership style and strong command of budgeting, margins, and growth strategies, Derrick oversees daily operations across all departments, ensuring consistent excellence in performance, safety, and project execution.

Derrick began his career as an apprentice lineman in 2003, later advancing to Foreman and ultimately Superintendent of Distribution, where he successfully led thirty-two crews across Indiana. Outside of his professional roles, Derrick enjoys fitness, family time, and exploring classic car design, continuing to be a driving force behind Pierce Powerline’s reputation for trust, reliability, and excellence.
